Data Centers & Mission-Critical.
We've Run the Infrastructure.
Our co-founder's early career started in commercial electrical construction — hands-on, field-level experience in how facilities get built. Then his uncle arranged something rare: a private 3-hour tour of a Verizon data center, led by the head of facilities. Every redundant system. Every UPS. Every failover path. Then the servers started humming — and the direction changed. He went into IT, ran technology departments, and built SaaS companies on infrastructure he designed himself.
A 3-Hour Private Tour. Every Redundant System. Then the Servers Started Humming.
Our co-founder's background in electrical construction gave him ground-level experience in how facilities actually get built. But the pivotal moment came when his uncle arranged a private 3-hour tour of a Verizon data center — guided by the head of the facility himself. This wasn't a sales walkthrough. It was a deep technical immersion into every critical system: redundant UPS infrastructure, HVAC, power distribution, and failover architecture explained by the person responsible for keeping all of it online.
Then he saw the servers humming — and the direction changed entirely. He went into IT, worked his way to running entire technology departments, and founded multiple SaaS companies built on infrastructure he designed himself, including self-healing Kubernetes pipelines in production. That combination — field-level electrical experience, a rare inside view of how mission-critical redundancy actually works, and years of operating the infrastructure that depends on it — is what our co-founder brings to every data center electrical project Anvil Edge pursues.
Critical Power Infrastructure That Understands Uptime.
A power event in a data center doesn't just turn off a light. It can corrupt in-flight writes, violate SLAs, trigger cascading failures across distributed systems, and cost thousands of dollars per minute in downtime. We design and install data center electrical systems with that reality as the baseline — not an afterthought.
Talk to Us About Your Project2N & N+1 Redundant Power Architecture
Redundant power paths designed from the utility entrance through the UPS, ATS, and PDU to the rack. Single points of failure designed out — not patched over after the fact.
UPS Systems & Battery Infrastructure
UPS system installation, battery infrastructure, and runtime calculations based on your actual critical load — sized to cover real transfer events, not best-case scenarios.
Generator & Automatic Transfer Systems
Generator connections, automatic transfer switches, and paralleling gear with the transfer time requirements mission-critical environments demand.
High-Density Rack Power
Modern GPU and AI/ML compute clusters pull 20–40kW per rack. We design and install power infrastructure that handles actual high-density workloads — not legacy 5kW-per-rack assumptions.
Cooling System Power Coordination
CRAC and CRAH units, in-row cooling, economizers, and cooling plant electrical — coordinated with mechanical so the power infrastructure and cooling infrastructure scale together.
Every Type of Mission-Critical Facility
From enterprise data centers to edge deployments and high-density compute environments — we cover the full range of mission-critical electrical.
Enterprise & Colocation Data Centers

High-Density & AI/ML Compute Environments
Purpose-built electrical infrastructure for GPU clusters, AI training environments, and high-performance computing facilities with power densities that legacy systems can't handle.
- High-density PDU and power whip design
- 400V/480V three-phase distribution
- Busway and overhead power distribution
- Cooling coordination for thermal management
$9,000 Per Minute. That's What Data Center Downtime Costs.
The average cost of data center downtime is $9,000 per minute — and that's before accounting for SLA violations, data corruption, reputational damage, and customer churn. Our co-founder has lived on the other side of that equation. He's the one who gets called at 3am when a power event takes a cluster node down. He's written the incident postmortems. He's presented the root cause analysis to the board. When we design data center electrical, we design it with the cost of failure as the baseline requirement — not as a risk to be managed after the fact.
What We Bring to Every Mission-Critical Job
Data center electrical requires a different kind of precision — one that accounts for cascading failures, not just code compliance. We bring both.
Redundant Power Architecture
2N and N+1 power path design — utility, UPS, generator, ATS, and PDU — with no single point of failure between the street and the rack.
UPS & Battery Systems
UPS installation, battery string design, runtime calculations, and commissioning — sized to the actual critical load, not a rule of thumb.
Generator & Transfer Systems
Generator connections, ATS, and paralleling gear with the correct transfer timing for your UPS ride-through capability. Tested under load before occupancy.
High-Density Power Distribution
PDUs, power whips, busway, and overhead distribution designed for modern rack densities — 20kW, 30kW, 40kW+ per rack handled correctly.
Cooling & Mechanical Coordination
CRAC, CRAH, in-row cooling, and economizer electrical — coordinated with the mechanical design so power and cooling scale together from day one.
Live-Facility Work & Retrofit
Power infrastructure upgrades, UPS replacements, and capacity expansions in active facilities — planned and executed without taking production systems offline.
Designed for Zero Unplanned Downtime.
Mission-critical electrical requires a different level of pre-construction engineering, redundancy verification, and commissioning discipline than any other environment.
Critical Load Analysis
Full IT load analysis, power density mapping, and redundancy architecture defined before design begins.
Redundant Path Design
2N power paths designed from utility entrance through every PDU — single points of failure identified and eliminated.
Infrastructure Installation
Switchgear, UPS, generators, ATS, busway, and PDUs installed and labeled to the as-built drawings.
Low-Voltage & Monitoring
Structured cabling, security, access control, and power monitoring infrastructure landed and commissioned.
Load Testing & Commissioning
Full load bank testing, ATS failover verification, UPS runtime validation, and generator runtime under load before any production equipment goes live.
